The Jr. Financial Analyst will support the technology finance team with managing costs of projects, gather information from various sources/departments such as Procurement, Contracts and Legal to process invoices, expense requests and contracts. This person will be directly interfacing with executives and leadership to build relationships with internal and external teams to ensure contracts, legal documentation, expense requests, and invoices are accurate and processed in automated system on time.
Job Duties:
- Work with project managers to gather information needed for the specific requests such as submitting Expense Requests in the system making sure all the documents and data is accurate.
- Collaborate and support different teams such as Procurement, Contracts and Legal to have contracts signed on time.
- Serve as primary source of reference for other members of the CIO funding team and coordinate and build relationships with external teams and internal financial stewards to ensure a seamless funding process/service.
- Gather data from multiple source sets to develop and track Expense requests by project and load them into Project costing system.
- Perform financial analysis and forecasting according to established insight with the ability to communicate internally while ensuring costs are managed correctly within technology-based projects and initiatives.
Education & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must (written, verbal)
- 2+ years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis within technology departments/settings
- Previous experience with Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc)
- Experience working with ERP and other financial systems
Plus:
- Previous experience in the banking industry is a plus
- Previous experience with change management departments is a plus
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
