Objective of the position

Monitor the Customs Compliance of the daily Import Operation under the Automotive Fiscal Deposit Regime, guarantee the fulfillment of the obligations of Kia’s Foreign Trade Certifications

Typical tasks:

- Monitor the compliance of Foreign Trade Authorizations (IMMEX, PROSEC, CIVA, AEO, and Fiscal Deposit) granted by Governmental Authorities.
- Coordinate Customs & Tax Authorities Audits.
- Development and implementation of internal procedures
- Design and implement customs strategies that help improves Cost Avoidance.




- Networking with customs authorities to strengthen the relationship with Kia.
- Accurately and timely report the deviations detected and advise action plans.

Qualifications

- Bachelor/Engineering degree
- FTA regulations
- Mexican customs regulations (customs law, foreign trade rules, fiscal deposit for automotive industry, PROSEC & IMMEX)
- CBP/SAT/ANAM verification
- Conversational English (required)
