We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, deployment automation, and operational tooling that enable our engineering teams to deliver software safely, consistently, and efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with Software Engineering, SRE, Platform Engineering, and Product teams to reduce delivery bottlenecks, automate repetitive work, improve deployment reliability, and support secure, observable, and well-documented paths to production. You will contribute to Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, containerized workloads, monitoring, alerting, and release processes across cloud and Kubernetes environments.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys automation, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Linux, and solving practical infrastructure and delivery challenges at scale.

Responsibilities Create, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code with an emphasis on reusable, reviewed, and documented infrastructure components.

Build, maintain, and support CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, environment-based deployments, approval gates, artifacts, secrets handling, and rollback support.

Develop and maintain Ansible roles, inventories, and playbooks for repeatable OS, middleware, application, and operational configuration tasks.

Support containerized application delivery using Docker/OCI images and Kubernetes-based deployment patterns.

Collaborate with software engineers to standardize application build, packaging, deployment, and release processes.

Automate repetitive operational and release tasks to reduce manual handoffs, deployment delays, and configuration drift.

Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.

Support cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP under established architecture, security, and cost-control guidelines.

Assist with deployment validation, smoke testing, health checks, rollback procedures, and release troubleshooting.

Participate in incident response and production support as part of an on-call or escalation rotation, focusing on triage, mitigation, and follow-up tasks.

Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, deployment procedures, and knowledge-base articles for supported systems.

Partner with SRE and Platform Engineering to implement reliability, security, and automation standards across development teams.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, infrastructure automation, release engineering, or similar roles.

Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Working knowledge of Kubernetes or managed Kubernetes services, including deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, probes, and troubleshooting.

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code; Pulumi with Python is preferred.

Experience with configuration management and automation using Ansible.

Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

Experience with Docker image build, tagging, scanning, publishing, and runtime troubleshooting.

Scripting or programming experience with Python and Bash; PHP, JavaScript, or other languages are a plus.

Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting, and basic observability practices.

Understanding of secure delivery practices, including least privilege, secrets management, dependency scanning, and access control.

Working knowledge of Git, branching strategies,

pull requests, code reviews, and release tagging.

Basic understanding of databases, SQL, networking, DNS, certificates, and load balancing.
