Accounting Specialist - Remote
A growing team is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations and support both internal processes and client-facing responsibilities. This is a remote position that requires hands-on accounting expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and review financial records including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and tax documentation.
- Supervise a small team of accountants, offering regular feedback, coaching, and support with professional development.
- Support clients with monthly and year-end close activities, produce accurate financial statements, and assist during audits.
- Develop and implement internal procedures to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments including tax, sales, and operations to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Define and monitor performance indicators to ensure financial goals and deadlines are met.
**Ideal Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Between 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.




- Experience managing or mentoring team members.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel is essential.
- Must be able to obtain QuickBooks Online certification within 60 days of hire.
- Familiarity with tax reporting and compliance practices is highly preferred.
- CPA designation is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Spanish fluency is a bonus.
