Job Purpose
Under general supervision, uses basic principles, theories and concepts and an understanding of established analytical/scientific methods for design, research, test, and installation of Solar turbomachinery products. DIMENSIONS:
Problem Assignments:
Develops solutions to problems of limited scope. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact:
Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on schedules and programs.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor and other professionals in the section or group.
Work is done under general supervision and procedures/guidelines are usually available that are applicable to the specific assignment.



The work is typically a contribution to a much broader task or program.
Requires a demonstrated creative ability and initiative in anticipating problems and proposing and achieving solutions in assigned tasks.
Assumes responsibility for the output and validation of engineering data that conforms to Company objectives regarding product performance, cost quality manufacturability and maintainability.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
In addition to accountabilities associated with lower grades, performs specific engineering assignments which could include (but are not limited to) any combination of the following major activities:
1.Development of effective engineering solutions to assigned tasks that meet Company/program objectives
2.Complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner
3.Review, validate and document the technical output from assigned tasks
4.Perform as an effective team member in cross-flinctional development teams
5.Identify technical issues and seek guidance of immediate supervisor and/or other professionals
