Technical Supervisor - Used Electronics Manufacturing Equipment
- Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Juarez, Mexico, specializing in the sale of pre-owned electronics manufacturing equipment. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise in SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment and the ability to support our sales operations through comprehensive equipment evaluation, refurbishment, and technical consultation.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Equipment & Repair & Management
- Oversee technical operations for used electronics manufacturing equipment including chip mounters, SMT lines, and related peripherals.
- Develop and execute comprehensive refurbishment plans ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of servicing, refurbishment, and equipment cataloging activities
- Conduct thorough technical assessments to evaluate equipment condition, functionality, and market value.
- Provide detailed inspection reports to support sales decisions and customer consultations.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of various electronic manufacturing equipment including
- Fuji NXT III, AIMEX & Panasonic NPM Mounters, & Others.
- Wave Solders and Reflow ovens
- Through-Hole equipment such as Universal
- AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians in equipment handling, repair, and testing procedures
- Identify and contract external technical experts for specialized equipment repairs
Sales Support & Customer Consultation




- Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise for proposals and demonstration
- Assist customers with technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and equipment recommendations
Logistics & Operations
- Coordinate equipment transportation including loading/unloading trailers with sensitive machinery.
- Work with packaging companies to supply custom crates and pallets for safe equipment transport.
- Manage inventory maintenance, repair scheduling, and storage optimization.
Required Qualifications & Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) a basic requirement
- Five years’ experience with electronics manufacturing equipment support and sales.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude for diagnosing and proposing repair of complex equipment
- Proven leadership experience with technical teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities for rapid technical issue resolution
- Strong communication skills for both technical documentation and customer interactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
- Willingness to travel extensively within the USA for equipment inspections and installation
- Valid passport and ability to cross international borders
