**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapists to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Your primary goal will be to implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, fostering skill development and promoting positive behavior changes in a supportive environment.
**Duties**
- Conduct assessments to identify the unique needs of each client and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement ABA strategies during one-on-one sessions to encourage skill acquisition in areas such as communication, social skills, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support and guidance.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in ABA practices.
- Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment for clients, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals.

**IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: RECREATIONAL THERAPIST POSITION**
You will work as a RECREATIONAL THERAPIST, not as a psychologist. Working in licensed psychology would require additional U.S. certification and licensing processes.
**As a Recreational Therapist**:
- NO U.S. psychology license required
- NO additional certifications needed to start
- Your Mexican psychology training provides the clinical foundation for recreational therapy work
- This position allows you to use your mental health knowledge and clinical experience in a recreational therapy setting without going through lengthy U.S. licensing processes
**CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH PROFICIENCY**

- Patients and their families (explaining treatments, giving instructions)
- Interdisciplinary medical teams (reports, meetings)
- Official documentation (treatment plans, evaluations)
- Emergency and crisis situations
**Required Level**: B2-C1 (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced)
