Join our Engineering Enablement Team as a **Lead Java Technical Coach**, where you will work hands-on with cross-functional teams to enhance their technical capabilities in cloud-native development, Kubernetes, and observability.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead immersive technical enablement efforts alongside engineers and teams
- Build and foster team alignment through value stream mapping and collaborative growth
- Provide hands-on coaching in cloud-native backend and frontend development
- Enable teams to implement advanced engineering practices such as Chaos Engineering
- Collaborate across roles to enhance engineering practices and system reliability
- Communicate the rationale behind changes focusing on technical and business value
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong cloud-native expertise with Kubernetes and containerized services at scale
- Hands-on development experience in backend Java or Kotlin or frontend React/JavaScript
- Observability knowledge including tracing, alerting, and monitoring production systems
- Experience with Chaos Engineering tools such as Gremlin is highly desirable
- Demonstrated skill in value stream mapping, team charters, and coaching practices
- Practical understanding of horizontal and vertical scaling models for cloud-native apps
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain technical concepts
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Experience in immersive team learning environments
- Ability to facilitate organizational change across engineering teams
- Familiarity with incident reduction strategies and reliability improvement
- Knowledge of Java Observability techniques
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering practices
