We are seeking a **Senior Accounting Manager** with solid expertise in the **energy sector** to lead our accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership. This is a key role in a growing organization, offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen the company’s financial foundation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead all accounting functions: general ledger, tax, reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and cost accounting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with **IFRS and Mexican GAAP (NIF)**.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements applicable to the **energy industry** (CRE, SENER, CNH, SAT).
- Oversee external and internal audits; maintain strong relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
- Implement and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
- Build and develop a high-performing accounting team, promoting operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to support strategic decision-making.
**Requirements**:




- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or Master’s degree preferred).
- **10+ years of accounting experience**, including at least 5 years in managerial positions within the **energy sector**.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, NIF, and Mexican tax regulations.
- Proven experience in complex closings, consolidations, and working with Big Four audit firms.
- Advanced English (bilingual proficiency required).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
