**Job Summary**
We are seeking a bilingual induvidual with strong experience in the furniture manufacturing industry, IMMEX import/export operations, and company incorporation in Mexico. This role will be key in supporting the setup and ongoing operation of a manufacturing business in Ciudad Juárez, working closely with foreign stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
Manage and oversee import and export operations under the IMMEX program, ensuring full compliance with Mexican customs and tax regulations
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and government authorities
Support or lead company incorporation processes in Mexico, including coordination with legal, accounting, and government entities
Ensure compliance with SAT, customs (Aduanas), and IMMEX reporting and audits
Support day-to-day manufacturing operations, with a focus on furniture production processes and supply chain coordination
Act as a local liaison between Mexican operations and foreign owners or management
Prepare documentation, reports, and communications in English and Spanish
Identify operational risks and propose solutions related to trade, compliance, and manufacturing efficiency
Assist with vendor selection, permits, licenses, and operational setup as needed




**Required Qualifications**
- Proven experience in the furniture manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IMMEX import/export programs
- Experience supporting or managing company incorporation in Mexico
- Solid understanding of Mexican customs, trade regulations, and compliance requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Experience working with or supporting foreign-owned companies is highly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Based in or very familiar with Ciudad Juárez
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working with maquiladoras or export-oriented manufacturing operations
- Prior involvement in SAT or customs audits
- Background in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing management
- Ability to work independently in a growing or startup environment
