main responsibilities
- coordinate and maintain the integrated management system (ims) across all documentation levels, ensuring compliance with iatf 16949, customer-specific requirements, and applicable automotive industry standards within a tier 1 manufacturing environment.
- plan, coordinate, and execute internal system, process, and product audits in accordance with the annual audit program.
- coordinate internal cross-audits to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of the quality management system (qms).
- measure, monitor, and report quality management system performance indicators and effectiveness.
- coordinate customer surveys, assessments, and quality-related requests.
- participate in multidisciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- liaise with certification bodies and external auditors to ensure compliance with certification requirements and timely closure of audit findings.
- conduct and document internal audits according to established schedules and applicable standards.
- verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions resulting from audit findings and nonconformities.
- review, update,
and deploy customer-specific requirements, ensuring compliance throughout the organization.
- ensure the availability and implementation of the latest versions of iatf 16949, applicable vda standards, cqis, and automotive core tools (apqp, ppap, fmea, spc, and msa).
- carry out activities defined in the environment, health, and safety (ehs) matrix, including ocrs and tsvs, as applicable.
- report audit results and communicate findings to management and process owners.
- generate and maintain objective evidence supporting the effective closure of nonconformities.
- plan, coordinate, and follow up on layered process audits (lpas) to ensure process compliance and discipline.
- plan, prepare, and manage third-party audits, including certification, surveillance, and customer audits.
- coordinate management review meetings and monitor the execution of resulting action plans.
- support compliance with customer, regulatory, quality, environmental, and safety requirements within a high-volume automotive tier 1 manufacturing operation.
- promote continuous improvement initiatives aligned with customer expectations, operational targets, and iatf 16949 requirements.
required profile
- bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related relevant field.
- previous experience leading the qms in an automotive industry organization.
- certified iatf 16949:2016 lead auditor (a must).
- core tools experience and certification (a must).
- must be able to hold business conversations in english (a must).
- experience working with stellantis, ford and gm programs and requirements (highly preferred).
- experience working in automotive companies operating under vda standards (highly preferred).
- experience working in automotive companies with plastic injection and painting processes (highly preferred).
