- **_Develop/Improve PLC, HMI & automation system programs of new and current processes _**:
- **_Participate in early manufacturing concept development _**:
- **_Participate in machine and tool design reviews, the estimating process, and management reviews when required. _**:
- **_Manage and update electrical/mechanical drawings _**:
- **_Support and Troubleshooting to manufacturing areas with legacy equipment to achieve KPIs _**:
- **_Follow up on action plans in continuous improvement processes _**
**_YOUR BACKGROUND _**
**_Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are: _**
- **_Education: Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electronics, Software Engineering, or Experience with custom manufacturing equipment for assembly development. _**:
- **_English (desired) _**:
- **_Problem-solving skills _**:
- **_PLC programming: Rockwell and Siemens Platforms _**:
- **_SCADA systems development. Basic knowledge of programming and connectivity _**:
- **_Homologation and development of inspections systems (2D cameras, 3D scanners) (Keyence/Cognex). _**:
- **_Knowledge of Silicon/Adhesive dispensing system: Programming and handling (PVA / Nordson). _**:
- **_Leak testing: Knowledge of parameter handling and Tests (Cincinnati). _**:
- **_Laser marking/etching DMC and alphanumeric. _**:
- **_Servo motors and drives (AB, Siemens). _**:
- **_MSA and statistical applied to process performance improvement. _**:




- **_Troubleshoot software related issues with equipment functions, track I/O requirements with HMI, network, sensors etc. to comply with next step equipment operation PLC (Allen B. Siemens etc). _**:
- **_Selection of robot for applied assembly manufacturing (Epson). _**:
- **_CAD software knowledge NX, Solid Works (30% or higher). _**:
- **_Familiar in component manufacturing processes (plastic molding, stampings, machining). _**:
- **_Develop and maintain project timelines for internal and customer usage. _**:
- **_Work with multiple departments to release manufacturing cells. _**:
- **_Experience engineering changes, and manufacturing product release. _**:
- **_Experience with manufacturing documentation development, PFMEA, PFD, GANT. _**:
- **_Availability to travel / USA Visa and Mexican passport. _**
