Position: Director of Program Management

Location: Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico (Candidate must be willing to relocate)

Work Mode: On-site (Full-Time)

Reports To: Regional Vice President

Position Profile

Required Experience

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within OEM electronics manufacturing (SMT), contract manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing operations.
- At least 5 years in Program Management leadership.
- Proven experience managing projects from concept through production, including material planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and customer program execution.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or similar platforms.
- Project Management certification is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, etc.).
- Experience utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus.

Languages

- Advanced English (written and spoken).

Position Summary

The Director of Program Management is responsible for leading the Program Management organization at the site, serving as the primary advocate for customer requirements while aligning internal operations to achieve business objectives. This position ensures customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence by translating customer expectations into executable strategies.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position based in Hermosillo, Sonora , requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams, manufacturing operations,



and customers to support strategic initiatives and operational execution.

The role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Planning, and Business Development to support existing business, launch new programs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop the Program Management team.
- Establish performance objectives aligned with revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational goals.
- Manage customer forecasts and overall program financial performance.
- Monitor customer P&Ls; and drive initiatives to improve profitability.
- Analyze cost structures, revenue performance, and business opportunities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Lead Customer Focus Teams (CFTs) across multiple functions.
- Coordinate activities with Production, Planning, Materials, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and Sales.
- Ensure customer requirements are effectively translated into operational execution.

Operational Excellence

- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, SMT best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor operational KPIs including:
- On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- Quality Performance




- Inventory Performance
- Program Profitability
- Lead corrective actions when performance gaps are identified.

Customer Relationship Management

- Serve as executive contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Develop long-term customer relationships focused on retention and growth.
- Conduct regular business reviews and customer visits.
- Ensure effective communication regarding project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Analyze financial statements and program performance.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and profitability analyses.
- Monitor revenue recognition, cost allocation, and gross margin performance.
- Develop KPI dashboards and executive reports for leadership.

Business Development & Commercial Support

- Support quotation activities and pricing strategies.
- Participate in customer negotiations, contract renewals, and commercial discussions.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing business and secure new programs.
- Collaborate with Business Development to develop competitive proposals.

Strategic Planning

- Partner with Supply Chain and Planning teams to align material availability with customer demand.
- Support capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Drive strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Ensure alignment between customer expectations and manufacturing capabilities.
