Primary Objective
Reporting to the Director Transformación GBM Latam, the Associate Director PMO will support the large-scale transformation program with a focus in Mexico and with specific support activities for Latam Countries, across a range of strategic project planning and execution activities. Key areas of involvement will include program monitoring, resource and budget planning and tracking, reporting and communications.
Responsibilities Project planning and monitoring - Liaise and coordinate with project stakeholders to gather and consolidate information for project status reporting (e.g. RAG, issues, actions, milestones, etc.)
- Support the PMO Lead in acting as the liaison and primary communication channel between teams, reporting status on; prioritization and project sequencing, requirements gathering, issue resolution, and overall project execution
- Control schedule and update plan on an ongoing basis; manage change controls
- Manage shared resources across all workstreams Reporting - Collect and aggregate status reports from Latam work streams for thorough review of progress and issues
- Challenge progress made Communications - Coordinate communication across workstreams
- Develop and syndicate materials for various governance bodies, change management sessions, and program communications
- Communicate periodically the overall Latam status report to IB PMO and involved teams Budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for GBM Transformation Latam - Size, track, adjust and reallocate budgets
- Produce and analyze forecasts
- Register and track overall project costs, broken down by initiative and category
- Conduct cost analyses (e.g., expenditure level or the funding requirements, cash flow analysis)
- Anticipate and mitigate cost overruns
- Produce ad-hoc project cost reports / dashboards Risk/lssue escalation and resolution
- Run disciplined process for collecting, raising, escalating, and resolving risks and issues
Benefits tracking for GBM Transformation Latam
- Track and adjust expected benefits (i.e., cost/benefit analyses); this may use scoring mechanism to quantify intangible benefits
- Continuity and feasibility analysis of project implementation Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in analytical subject (preferably with technological and/or operations background)
- 5-10 years project management / consulting experience
- Knowledgeable across (most) of GBM's products: Bonds, Cash Equities, FX
- Knowledgeable managing large scale projects
- Working knowledge / experience in delivering large technology transformation projects or large system implementations
- Excellent verbal communication & presentation skills
