We are Cisco’s Failure Analysis & Prevention team, which plays a critical role in ensuring high Customer/Product quality. The Technology and Quality organization is responsible for delivering customer-focused quality, reliability solutions and infrastructure for Cisco products. It is committed to driving a competitive advantage for Cisco by ensuring innovation and excellence in manufacturing technology, test, and component engineering, NPI, and closed-loop quality management. Your role would be to help the team to unlock the full power of digitization. You will belong to a Regional Supply Chain Operations team(s) accountable of guiding and leading our manufacturing partners to meet our customers’ expectations as well as helping Cisco to create, implement and adopt new processes, platforms and technologies that enables better customer experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for leading manufacturing execution excellence and customer experience through operational performance on delivery, quality, cost and transformation
- Manage lab operations, equipment maintenance, and field service/depot repair processes
- Ensure the EMS Partners sites have the outstanding Quality Management System (QMS) deployed throughout their operation
- Lead operational excellence metrics ACT Yield,
timely Delivery, etc. and accountable for associated business results
- Accountable to solve any factory related quality issues involving failure analysis and its processes
- Drive cycle time reduction, test optimizations, and quality improvement to meet and improve cost and lead time
- Partners with various multi-functional organizations including Product Operations, Supplier Management, Planning, Fulfillment, Technology and Quality to drive business outcomes as applicable
- Drive qualification of SMT lines for next gen PCBA technologies, BGA, edge bonding, large press fit connectors, and process characterizations
- Builds strong organization with leadership bench strength, capabilities for the future, engagement
- Focus on Supply Chain innovation through process, tools and test reengineering and implementation
- Act as the escalation point for critical issues, reporting risk assessments and ETA metrics to senior leadership
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of broad Supply Chain Electronics Technical Operations experience in Failure Analysis, Test Development Engineering or Manufacturing Process experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field required.
- 5+ years of personnel management experience, leadership role in Supply Chain and Team Development.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Failure Analysis, Functional Test and/or PCBA SMT operations and factory management.
- Develop solutions to complex problems and implement short / long term technical strategies.
- Familiarity with complex electro-mechanical systems, bench testing, fault isolation equipment, and debugging methodologies.
- Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI),
RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) tracking, and supply chain alignment.
- Extensive Project Management knowledge with ability to influence to all levels and build trust to achieve a shared vision and drive accountability.
- English and Spanish language proficient.

- Demonstrated Statistical Analysis knowledge
- Ability to self-motivate with a strong desire to learn and ability to be flexible
- Industry experience with Semiconductor or Manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a challenging environment.
