As an Area Manager, you will lead and develop your own team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse environment. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team. As a servant leader, you will ensure that your team has all the tools needed to succeed at any task during a shift, and engage with them to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance performance, and engagement.

What is fulfillment? Fulfillment is how we refer to completing or fulfilling a customer’s Amazon.com order through the acts of picking, packing, shipping, and delivering their order to meet or exceed their expectations.

Job Requirements

- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts
- Ability to work overtime both in peak season and as needed

Locations and placement: The position is not a corporate role and will be located in a Fulfillment Center.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and develop a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates
- Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source, maintaining compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
- Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs
- Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates




- Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
- Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
- Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality

This role requires working on a 4x3 or 5x2 journal. The position rotates shifts at least 2–3 times per year. This is not a remote position; work location is at Tepotzotlán, Edo. Mex.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience developing and implementing KPI goals and strategies based on organization goals
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English
- Will work versátil hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

- At least 1 year of logistics operations experience
- MBA, or Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience
