Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Public Accountant)
- 5 years experience in manufacturing/maquiladora environments
- Fluency in English

Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Assign daily, weekly, monthly tasks, establishing priorities.
- Review prepayroll, payroll, and employee payments weekly.
- Review weekly accounts payable, ensuring internal controls accuracy.
- Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
- Review tax payments.
- Correct issues identified from account reconciliations.
- Assist in accounting continuous improvement efforts, analyze VAT devolutions, ensure internal controls compliance.
- Provide training to accounting/finance team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills:

- Knowledge of SAP and Treasury systems.
- Tax knowledge.
- Team leadership and collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
