Accountable for assigned site(s) and region HSE programs and activities and works with all relevant employees to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company HSE policies. Works collaboratively with site leadership to ensure HSE priorities are delivered sufficiently.
Defines HSE priorities for area of responsibility and works collaboratively with Site Leaders and other department heads to drive continuous HSE improvement for several sites or countries.
•Manages multiple priorities and multiple sites to ensure HSE objectives are met. Ability to complete projects to support the Integral Regional Manager objectives. Develop a strategy to ensure HSE continuous improvement within the assigned sites/region.
•Develops and manages the priorities of direct reports to ensure proper succession of the HSE function and responsibilities for the assigned area. Ensure resources are working to achieve the full HSE objectives.
•Drives HSE communication process to ensure compliance with all identified HSE requirements within their country(ies). Ensure input into HSE targets and improvement projects for key leaders.
•Guides and promotes safe work performance by developing proactive HSE systems, policies, and procedures; develop safety and environmental campaigns,
communications, and recognitions in line with Division/Regional strategies.
•Ensures training programs addresses gaps in knowledge and are based on all available HSE data and trends. Develop programs to improve Site Leadership and employee understanding of HSE programs and culture. Participate in Supervisor/Manager HSE Training Programs.
•Supports customer HSE requirements including data management for contractor databases including but not limited to ISNetworld, Achilles and other relevant bodies.
•Drives the HSE Management System to be a tool for managing key HSE objectives and identifying potential improvements.
•Ensures all HSE reporting is completed, including monthly reporting, customer prequalification forms, and other requested information. Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
~5 to 7 years HSE experience plus strong working knowledge of HSE regulations and requirements.
~Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 HSE management systems required.
~ Demonstrated skills must include strong written and oral communication, resource management, problem solving, process improvement, conflict resolution and process development / deployment administration and change management.
~ Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations
