Job Description

- Lead the accounts payable and financial services work team at Fromex.
- Manage accounts payable USA invoicing at Fromex.
- Prepare and manage daily, monthly book reports and analysis of shipments and delays.
- Act as the link between customer account collections and risk compliance with company policies.
- Resolve customer issues by applying billing processes and interacting with other departments to ensure timely and accurate invoice corrections.
- Supervise customer order hold postings related to credit, pricing, taxes and commissions.
- Record journal entries and perform reconciliations for intercompany receivables, commission and tax on shipments.
- Generate and reconcile monthly tax records on shipments for preparation of state tax returns.
- Ensure adherence to effective controls, accounting policies, practices and procedures.
- Perform various analyses as advised by the accounting manager and comptroller.

Requirements

- 5 years of related experience in accounting, accounts payable and American accounts receivable, with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Bi‑lingual 90%.
- Ability to provide leadership in a work team.
- Ability and documentation to travel to the USA.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle system.
- High analytical capacity.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
