Resumen

RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, organize and direct maintenance activities for the plant to meet established plant objectives. Serve as a teacher, coach and advisor to facilitate teamwork and continued employee development.

Responsabilidades

- Daily record maintenance calls, make work assignments for all maintenance personnel.
- Complete preventative maintenance activities in accordance with agreed upon goals. Complete service request within agreed upon deadlines.
- Provide complete and clear instructions when giving work assignments. Assure tools and equipment are in proper working order, and responsible for security of departmental equipment.
- Take corrective action and remedy substandard performance and deviation from Company policies and procedures occurring within the department.
- Communicate to employees regarding standards and expectations, quality and quantity of work performed.




- Interpret labor agreement in situations affecting department and grievance resolutions in line with contractual obligations and management rights.
- Identify and correct root causes of poor productivity, efficiency, and attainment of department objectives.
- Maintain a safe work atmosphere and clean working conditions.
- Effectively communicate with supervision and other maintenance shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and general maintenance operations.
- 3+ maintenance experience.
- High school diploma; two year associate degree in technical area preferred.
- Equipment/Machines/Tools/Work Aids
- Familiar with new manufacturing equipment or processes.
