Position Objective

The General Trade Service Analyst is responsible for executing all aspects of import/export (including virtual) customs activity at BRP Queretaro. The role is primarily responsible for clearing import and export shipments, maintaining electronic archiving, generating reports, and processing all activities in compliance with Mexican Customs regulations, including IMMEX regulations.

Role & Responsibilities

- Create value, agility, and support growth while maintaining a high level of compliance.
- Monitor the arrival of shipments at the port of entry.
- Process import and export customs invoices in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and mitigate additional expenses such as warehousing.
- Contribute to proper transport assignment to mitigate delays in customs clearance execution.
- Close all pedimentos with the broker and enter them into the system on time.
- Maintain complete record‑keeping for each operation.
- Elaborate and update reports on import and export (Drives) and maintain KPI reports.




- Apply customs laws and regulations according to each type of operation; manage reports or notifications to authorities and other parties related to legal compliance.
- Support new product development.
- Support fixed asset transfers.
- Follow BRP values and behaviors.
- Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety‑related topics; enforce the Quality BRP policy.
- Collaborate in a positive work environment using the Officevibe tool.

Technical Skills

- MS Office

Qualifications

- 3‑5 years of experience in import/export.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
