The OpportunityThe Successful Applicant Will

Lease an established 7-shed broiler farm at Woodlands’ Glasshouse Mountains complex.

Operate as an independent contractor, managing day-to-day farm operations and labour.

Grow broilers under contract to Woodlands Enterprises, producing birds to agreed welfare, performance and quality standards.

This is a genuine business opportunity, not a wage-based role.

Farm and Infrastructure

7 tunnel-ventilated sheds with automated controllers.

On-site modern 4-bedroom residence included.

Feed, chicks and technical support supplied by Woodlands Enterprises.

Backed by a dedicated broiler services, maintenance and support team.

Your Responsibilities

Independently manage all daily farm operations, including:

Bird care, feeding, ventilation and flock performance.

Staff employment, supervision and rostering.

Maintain high standards of:

Animal welfare and RSPCA compliance.

Biosecurity, hygiene and safety.

Manage farm utilities,



routine maintenance and consumables.

Monitor performance data and work collaboratively with Woodlands Enterprises’ broiler team.

Support Provided

Experienced broiler service staff.

Nutrition, veterinary and technical specialists.

Centralised feed supply and logistics.

Maintenance support for major infrastructure.

About YouYou will ideally have:

Proven experience growing broiler chickens (preferred).

Strong knowledge of animal welfare, biosecurity and compliance standards.

Experience managing staff and operating a farm business.

A hands-on, self-motivated approach and willingness to live on-site.

A commitment to continuous improvement and partnership.

Applicants with strong livestock experience and the right mindset will be considered. Training support is available.

Contract & Remuneration

Long-term farm lease with broiler growing contract.
