We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and oversee payroll operations within our organization. The idóneo candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee wages, benefits, and related financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll management systems, accounting principles, and HRIS platforms. The Payroll Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with tax regulations and internal policies, supporting HR functions, and ensuring data integrity across payroll processes.

Responsibilities

- Process payroll using various software such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, and other relevant systems
- Manage employee data entry, updates, and maintenance within payroll and HRIS platforms
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries for financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations related to payroll and benefits administration
- Assist with benefits administration including tracking leave accruals and deductions
- Perform account reconciliations related to payroll expenses and liabilities
- Handle accounts payable and receivable related to payroll processing




- Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions for audit purposes
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on general ledger accounting, governmental accounting, and non-profit accounting as needed
- Support month-end closing activities involving payroll data and financial analysis
- Conduct data analysis to identify discrepancies or errors in payroll processing
- Ensure adherence to company policies regarding confidentiality and data security

Requirement

- 2+ Years of experience working with US Payroll
- Avanced experience using ADP
- Advanced English both written and spoken
- Experience with benefits administration like 401K
- Familiarity with US governmental regulations related to payroll taxes and reporting requirements
- Excellent data entry skills including 10 key typing proficiency and stron attention to detail

What We offer:

- Net salary of 30,000 to 40,000 MXN per month
