Job Summary

Reporting to the Test Engineer Manager , the Test Engineer’s role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
Directs and/or coordinate electronic technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
Direct and coordinate electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.
Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages like Python
Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
Develop test plans and procedures.
Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.
Performs failure analysis on functional test failures.
Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.
Experience in electronical industry.
Knowledge on ICT platforms (Keysight, Genrad, Digital Test).
Knowledge on PXI and VXI platforms (desirable).

Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test, ICT fixture development and enhancements.
Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles
Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
