Position: Portfolio Operations Specialist (Financial Analyst)

Location: REMOTE

Pay Rate: 699,080.00-873,850.00 Pesos per year

Must-Haves:

- 4-7 years of overall experience with a strong background in Financial Analysis or Accounting
- Managing operating budgets, capital budgets, contract management, capacity/resource planning, estimating for business cases, etc..
- Experience managing large portfolios of both CapEx and OpEx budgets ($50-$100 million+)
- Experience with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for automating pieces of the reporting process
- Strong Excel & Power BI proficiency : able to confidently work with large datasets, build and maintain models, create dashboards and translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with US-based vendors, Engineering Managers, etc.
- Able to thrive in ambiguity, jump in where needed (help with SOWs, POs, contracts, etc) and work cross-functionally
- Experience with US-based companies

Plusses:

- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
- IT industry experience (public accounting for a software company, etc.)
- Experience or exposure in procurement: issuing Purchase Orders, managing invoices, etc.

Day to Day:

An employer is looking for a Portfolio Operations Specialist for an on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The client is a large retailer,



and the Portfolio Ops Specialist will support the Portfolio Operations Manager who is responsible to the gap between IT and disciplined financial oversight. The idóneo candidate possesses an accounting and financial analysis background, understands contracts and purchasing and is capable of translating complex operational information into budgets and financial forecasts.

Under general supervision of a Portfolio Operations Manager and in conjunction with the Portfolio Operations Manager, lead and direct activities related to one or more Portfolio function while also building expertise in other functions.

The functional areas include:

- Capital and Operating budgets
- Financial Analysis of spend including building budgets and forecasts
- Contract management including purchasing
- Accounting tasks such as accrual management
- Estimating for business cases

Key Responsibilities:

- Tracking and reporting on Capital and Opex spend
- Performing financial analysis, forecasts and measuring spend to budget
- Financial accounting responsibilities including accrual management
- Procurement including contract administration, purchase order and invoice management
- Influence the culture of continuous improvement of delivery methodologies
- Set target deadlines and clear predictability and monitor and summarize progress of tasks
