We are seeking professionals capable of independently designing complex welding fixtures for robotic welding cells in the automotive industry.Key Responsibilities- Design welding fixtures using Siemens NX (Unigraphics).
- Develop fixture concepts for BIW assemblies.
- Define locating pins, supports, clamps and locating features to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Apply GD&T; principles to guarantee manufacturing tolerances.
- Design fixtures capable of holding multiple sheet metal components during robotic welding operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and quality.
- Interpret customer drawings and technical documentation in English.Mandatory Requirements✔️ 5+ years designing Welding Fixtures in Siemens NX.
✔️ Proven experience in BIW (Body-in-White) projects.
✔️ Strong knowledge of locating pins, clamps, supports and fixture design methodology.
✔️ Experience supporting robotic welding cells.
✔️ Advanced technical English for reading engineering drawings and specifications.
