The Supply Chain Planning Manager focuses on short, medium and long term supply and capacity planning, and is responsible for developing and implementing supply and capacity processes, action plans and models in Tijuana's leading metalworking company; ensuring that capacity and supply are available on time, and utilized effectively, while optimizing cost, and maximizing internal and external customer satisfaction.
The position identifies areas to increase business understanding and proactively generates and drives action plans to manage the full cycle of problem solving, including identifying opportunities through systemic techniques, and implementing end-to-end solutions to achieve improvements and efficiency gains.
The position requires a dynamic and self-motivated team member.
Demonstrate excellent cross-functional leadership, success in influencing a broad spectrum of stakeholders, and detailed knowledge of supply and capacity planning across the manufacturing footprint, and must be able to drive transformation across all aspects of the supply chain.
- Frontend Operating Plans.
Define factory run rates, inventory levels, capacity allocations.
Monitor factory execution and deviations to plan.
- Ensure accurate master data is used to generate supply plans, capacities are aligned, and gaps are resolved.
- Customer specific long-term plans.
Generate long-term capacity plans and supply responses to support
- Manage companywide MRP policy and production risk process.
Benchmark, maintain and monitor adherence to policies and systems.
- Prepare analysis and recommendations to transfer products to optimize supply and capacity.
Experiência y requisitos
- Experience with developing and using capacity models in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning ERP systems.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations or related discipline.
Master's degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of supply chain experience in a combination of supply planning, demand planning, data analytics, and internal/external manufacturing planning
- Financial analysis of new business opportunities
- Experience with developing and using capacity models in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with S&OP;, S&OE;, JIT, MRP, lean manufacturing, systems - kanban,
- Proficient in Microsoft software.
- Bilingual Spanish and English
