Learn more today! SummaryTactical Planner is an entry-level, tactical role responsible for executing foundational SAP transactions and clerical activities in support of Central Planner 2, Central Planner 3, and Supplier Integrators.
This position focuses on transactional accuracy, documentation discipline, foundational SAP execution and maintenance, and report distribution.
The role does not include planning decisions, shortage management, or decision-making.Essential FunctionsCreate, adjust, and maintain purchase orders for externally sourced componentsUpdate purchase orders with supplier-acknowledged ship dates and quantitiesConfirm purchase order pricing and quantities, support invoice matchingInput and maintain customer and supplier order data within ERP systemsTransmit releases to suppliers and track acknowledgementsAssist in monitoring inventory levels and inventory accuracy for purchasedMaintain material master, purchasing info records, and planning parameters as directedEnsure FIFO compliance through data accuracy and transaction timing (no physical handling)Track inbound shipments and verify receipt or non-receipt for purchased materialsCommunicate with freight carriers, customs brokers,
