The Opportunity
The Successful Applicant Will
Lease an established 7-shed broiler farm at Woodlands’ Glasshouse Mountains complex.
Operate as an independent contractor, managing day-to-day farm operations and labour.
Grow broilers under contract to Woodlands Enterprises, producing birds to agreed welfare, performance and quality standards.
This is a genuine business opportunity, not a wage-based role.
Farm and Infrastructure
7 tunnel-ventilated sheds with automated controllers.
On-site modern 4-bedroom residence included.
Feed, chicks and technical support supplied by Woodlands Enterprises.
Backed by a dedicated broiler services, maintenance and support team.
Your Responsibilities
Independently manage all daily farm operations, including:
Bird care, feeding, ventilation and flock performance.
Staff employment, supervision and rostering.
Maintain high standards of:
Animal welfare and RSPCA compliance.
Biosecurity, hygiene and safety.
Manage farm utilities,
routine maintenance and consumables.
Monitor performance data and work collaboratively with Woodlands Enterprises’ broiler team.
