Drive manufacturing strategy, process industrialization, and continuous improvement efforts for assigned manufacturing processes, delivering robust solutions that meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while enhancing technical capabilities.
Main Responsibilities Drive the technical industrialization of new products, manufacturing transfers, and engineering changes, ensuring safe, robust, and cost-effective implementation.
Develop, define, and standardize manufacturing processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned manufacturing processes, providing advanced technical support to Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams.
Develop, review, and approve manufacturing process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Drive manufacturing problem-solving activities related to product defects, process variation, capacity constraints, customer complaints, and waste reduction.
Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives using Kaizen, SMED, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, and waste elimination methodologies to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.
Manage CAPEX and automation projects, including technical requirements definition, supplier selection, FAT/SAT coordination,
equipment installation, validation, and operational release.
Evaluate technical risks and implement process control strategies to ensure process capability, stability, repeatability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate cross-functional resources and execute strategic projects, including product transfers, significant process changes, and operational improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and customer-specific standards by providing technical support to meet IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and applicable customer requirements.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in a similar position within metalworking manufacturing environments, with experience in manufacturing, process industrialization, continuous improvement, or process engineering.
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Lean Manufacturing, product industrialization, manufacturing transfers, automation, Cost Reduction, VAVE, project management, statistical analysis, and process design and optimization.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent), 2D/3D CAD, Microsoft Project (or equivalent), Power BI, Minitab (preferred), and document management software.
