Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety and Hygiene Intern to support our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department. This role will assist in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment for all employees at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and monitoring of EHS policies and procedures.

Support the coordination of safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and non-compliance issues.

Help maintain EHS documentation, including accident reports, safety training records, and compliance logs.

Participate in the investigation of incidents and near-misses, helping to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.

Support the EHS team in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.

Contribute to the promotion of a strong safety culture within the organization.





Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.

Strong interest in safety, hygiene, and environmental protection.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Basic understanding of EHS regulations and principles is a plus.

Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly desirable.
