Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Quality Manager Primary Location: Irapuato, GUA, MX Introduction We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our RUPO Mexico Team. In this role, you will carry out quality activities within the Metso manufacturing plant in Irapuato, Mexico. In this position, you will report to the Mexico Consumables Supply Chain Head.

This role is based in Irapuato, Gto. Team you will belong to You will join a team dedicated to providing solutions, recommendations and preventive actions that safeguard the safety of all Metso personnel. What you’ll do - Manage the implementation, running and development of the quality assurance and standard ways of working.

- Manage and drive feedback process (internal/external complaints) and continuous improvement down to root cause eliminations and standardisations.
- Facilitate the implementation of quality targets and action plans.
- Coordinate the network of quality professionals (e.g., Quality Engineers) in the region.
- Manage and ensure competence of quality resources within the hub.
- Train/coordinate trainings of quality, continuous improvement, and LEAN topics.
- Be responsible for QMS of the region (ISO 9001, 1st, and 3rd party audits).
- Be responsible for total quality self-assessment.
- Act as a change and continuous improvement ambassador and role model in quality and LEAN in the region, mentoring and coaching with a practical approach.
- Be a member of R&P; SC Global Quality Team. What you’ll bring - Ensure correct inspection of the main raw materials of the process in conjunction with suppliers and the purchasing area.
- Supplier performance evaluation, based on the quality of the materials delivered and the documentation that supports their quality.




- Ensure correct inspection and release of finished products by production to the shipping area.
- Generate and distribution of the Quality Certificates requested by the client.
- Receipt and request for information for acceptance of claim orders.
- Establish and monitor the documentary structure of the company's quality management system.
- Generate indicator report monthly, implement a score card and control chart for each indicator.
- Establish and improve procedures that are the responsibility of the area for the administration of the quality system, with the approval of those involved.
