Roadside Assistance Coordinator (Trucking) Location Remote (Mexico-based candidates supporting U.S. clients) Work Schedule: Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm CT We're Hiring: Roadside Assistance Coordinator (Trucking) We are looking for a Roadside Assistance Coordinator (Trucking) to support drivers during roadside breakdown situations and ensure operations continue smoothly and efficiently. This role is idóneo for someone who thrives in fast ‐ paced environments , enjoys problem‐solving, and can stay calm under pressure while supporting drivers in real‐time situations.
Role Overview As a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting drivers during breakdown events and coordinating solutions quickly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting drivers during roadside breakdown situations
- Managing common issues such as:
- Tire‐related problems (punctures, blowouts, damage)
- Emergency repair coordination
- Communicating directly with drivers to provide guidance and reassurance
- Coordinating with vendors and service providers for repairs
- Managing repair processes and ensuring proper follow‐up
- Following established procedures and guidelines to ensure timely resolutions What We're Looking For - Basic mechanical knowledge and practical understanding of truck and trailer operations
- Familiarity with:
- Common truck fault codes
- General repair processes
- When to escalate issues to dealerships
- Experience in trucking, transportation, dispatch, driver support, roadside assistance, or maintenance coordination is a strong plus
- Candidates with 1 year+ of relevant experience will be considered
- Comfortable working with systems and managing data; prior maintenance software experience is a plus but not required (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage high‐stress situations
- Experience with de‐escalation and crisis management
- Detail‐oriented with strong follow‐up and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple issues in real time Compensation: 26,000 – 30,000 MXN + benefits (Contractor) Interested?
