Role Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team and drive cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment strategies. Rather than just executing tasks, you will act as a consultative peer—designing resilient architectures, implementing modern DevOps practices, and integrating cutting-edge AI solutions into our infrastructure ecosystem. If you have a deep understanding of containerization, Infrastructure as Code, advanced CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP), and you thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.

What You'll Do Design & Architect: Build and maintain scalable, highly available cloud environments and design secure network models, ensuring robust Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.

Containerization & Microservices: Manage and scale applications using Docker and Kubernetes (k8s), including mesh configurations and advanced deployment models.

AI Integration: Leverage AI tools for infrastructure automation and support the deployment and scaling of AI/ML workloads within cloud environments. Automation (IaaC & CI/CD):



Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu or AWS CloudFormation, and build advanced CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).

Performance & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex application issues, analyze database queries to find bottlenecks, and propose the best backend tools for specific jobs.

Consultative Approach: Propose architecture changes and improvements accounting for performance, risks, and costs, while gracefully taking feedback from clients and leadership.

Mentorship & Leadership: Act as a technical leader—share knowledge, describe new procedures (runbooks).

What We're Looking For 6+ years of commercial experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Cloud Expertise: Strong commercial experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), ideally confirmed by a Professional-level certification. Willingness to learn others.

OS & Containers: Deep hands-on experience with Linux OS (various distros), Docker, and Kubernetes (k8s).

IaaC & CI/CD: Commercial experience with at least two IaaC tools (Terraform/OpenTofu preferred) and at least two CI/CD platforms.

Scripting & Code: Strong scripting skills in Python (preferred) and Bash.



Ability to understand changes made to the application codebase and actively contribute.

Databases: Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, advanced configuration, backup/recovery, and performance troubleshooting. AI: Practical knowledge of or strong interest in deploying AI models, utilizing LLMs, or automating DevOps tasks using AI-driven tools.

Communication: Excellent command of English (B2/C1+) capable of holding both technical and business conversations seamlessly.
