We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Databricks Engineer to lead the architecture, optimization, and delivery of enterprise-scale lakehouse solutions.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical depth and leadership.Responsibilities:- Design and implement enterprise data platforms using Databricks Lakehouse architecture- Lead migration of legacy data warehouses to modern cloud environments- Build scalable pipelines with Apache Spark and Delta Lake- Implement governance and security using Unity Catalog- Tune cluster performance and optimize cost efficiency- Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs- Work directly with stakeholders and business leadersRequirements:- 5+ years in data engineering / cloud analytics- 3+ years of deep experience with Databricks- Strong Python, SQL, Spark, and distributed processing expertise- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure / Amazon Web Services / Google Cloud- Experience with lakehouse architecture, governance, CI/CD- Excellent communication and client-facing skillsPreferred:- Databricks Professional certification- Team leadership experience- Migration/modernization project backgroundWhy Join?
