Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Project Leader.
**What you'll do**:
**Primary Function**:
Responsible to assure new product introduction (NPI) and product transferences (STP) are integrated to Tijuana eMobility site aligned to APQP, customer requirements and PROLaunch as needed, working hand to hand with Divisional Project Management and leading on-site team.
Lead NPI Quotations supported by NPI Team and product engineering.
**Essential Functions**:
1 Promote a safe work environment while promoting and maintaining high levels of 5S+ and standardization across all new product lines.
2 Leads and coordinate NPI team activities for project implementation
3 Leads NPI /STP project discussions and planning meetings to follow up schedule and meet customer milestones
4 Supports NPI/STP Portfolio management aligned with Staff Management team
5 Ensures that all NPI/STP Projects linked to Tijuana eMobility Site follow APQP Methodology driving internal gate reviews
6 Ensures the development and improves manufacturing processes for new or revised requirements for NPI and STP projects
7 Deploys strategies to continuously improve project execution & customer satisfaction
8 Assures introduction of manufacturing processes follow
9 Supports NPI Team to deploy/improve Leader Standard Work
10 Assessment and validation of new technologies, equipment,



tools and strategies in adherence to eMobility strategy and Industry 4.0 initiatives
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or Mechanics (or similar).
5-7 years of experience on similar role or NPI area.
Working with NPI and product transference.
Strong knowledge and experience on APQP, PCBA manufacturing and IATF*****.
3-5 years of experience on building electronic products (SMT, assembly, wave solder, mechanical assembly, coating, magnetics and wire assembly, spot welding, encapsulated, packing and labeling, etc.)
Project Management, PROLaunch/APQP
Effective communication, strategic thinking, team work, lead by influence, sense of urgency, proactive.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
- Travel: 50%
