We're Hiring | Senior NX Welding Fixture Designer (BIW) Location: Metepec / Toluca / Lerma / San Mateo Atenco, State of Mexico Work Scheme: Project-Based | Freelance Salary: (based on technical expertise) We are looking for highly experienced Senior NX Designers with proven expertise in Body-in-White (BIW) Welding Fixture Design. This is not a general mechanical design position. We are seeking professionals capable of independently designing complex welding fixtures for robotic welding cells in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities - Design welding fixtures using Siemens NX (Unigraphics).

- Develop fixture concepts for BIW assemblies.
- Define locating pins, supports, clamps and locating features to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Apply GD&T; principles to guarantee manufacturing tolerances.
- Design fixtures capable of holding multiple sheet metal components during robotic welding operations.




- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and quality.
- Interpret customer drawings and technical documentation in English.

Mandatory

Requirements ✔️ 5+ years designing Welding Fixtures in Siemens NX. ✔️ Proven experience in BIW (Body-in-White) projects. ✔️ Strong knowledge of locating pins, clamps, supports and fixture design methodology. ✔️ Experience supporting robotic welding cells. ✔️ Advanced technical English for reading engineering drawings and specifications. ✔️ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
