Title: Senior Tax Analyst (Bilingual)Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)JD:What you'll doSupport and test system configuration, and build data validation processes for indirect tax rules for existing (and proposed) business models and markets.Test new and existing features in in-house financial reporting tools (identify bugs, suggest and implement improvements).
Work and collaborate with various internal stakeholders on projects including system testing, data sharing, tax reporting.Together with the team, build (automated) processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in integral tax reporting and tax system monitoring.Acquire and analyze data across multiple lines of business including Mobility and Delivery.Support building and testing reports in SQL to meet various countries' tax and data reporting requirements.Using programming skills, produce periodic reports or statistical analysis for internal stakeholders that enable effective business analysis and decision making.What you'll need2-4 years of professional experience in industry or practiceDegree in computer science, data science, finance, accounting, tax, math,



physics and/or any other related fieldGood experience with Python or other object-oriented programming languageGood SQL knowledge and a proper understanding of relational databaseRobust knowledge of MS Office, especially MS ExcelComfortable handling big data & performing complex analysisGood English written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytic skills and passion for indirect tax rules/logic/data analysisCritical thinker ready to problem solve within different areas of the operations and finance organizationsComfortable diving deep into technical problems and working through solutions with subject matter expertsAttention to detail (being right the first time matters a lot to us)Self-motivated, passionate, dedicated, 'can-do' attitude and a positive outlookBonus pointsExperience in working in a Finance organizationExperience in building complex data analytics related programs in solving real-life problemsExperience in building dashboard and visualizing dataExperience in building Machine Learning modelsMulti-lingualInterested?
