Description The Design Engineer Intern will support the Design Engineering team during the early stages of product development, contributing to concept generation, design documentation, engineering analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The role provides hands-on exposure to product design processes, engineering tools, manufacturing considerations, and project execution while supporting the growth and scalability of the Engineering Business Unit in Toluca.
The intern will work closely with Design Engineers, Project Engineers, and Engineering Managers to develop technical skills and gain practical experience in product development from concept through release.
Key Responsibilities Product Development Support Analyze, evaluate, and understand customer design work packages, specifications, and project requirements.




Assist in developing engineering concepts, design proposals, and technical solutions.
Support the creation and maintenance of CAD models, engineering drawings, and design documentation.
Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
Assist in BOM creation, revision control, and engineering change documentation.
Engineering Analysis Conduct basic engineering calculations and feasibility studies.
Support tolerance stack-up evaluations and design validation activities.
Research materials, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.
Assist in identifying potential design risks and proposing corrective actions.
