Job Description
Main Objective:
Responsible for leading manufacturing operations and process management activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality, delivery, and customer requirements.
This role drives operational excellence, continuous improvement, workforce development, and strategic execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sustainable growth within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
What challenges will you have?
Lead manufacturing operations
to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and business objectives.
Drive strategic process improvements
through Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence initiatives, and continuous improvement programs that optimize efficiency, capacity, and profitability.
Manage and develop high-performing teams
, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, employee engagement, talent development, and leadership growth.
Ensure successful execution of new product launches and industrialization projects
, guaranteeing smooth integration into production operations while meeting quality and timing expectations.
Manage budgets, investments, and resource planning
, ensuring effective utilization of financial and operational resources while delivering business results.
Strengthen cross-functional collaboration
with Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Finance,



and Human Resources teams to support plant objectives and customer satisfaction.
Oversee quality management systems and manufacturing standards
, ensuring compliance with IATF *****, ISO ****, customer-specific requirements, and operational excellence frameworks.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Master's Degree is highly desirable.
Minimum of
7+ years of progressive experience
in manufacturing, operations, production, or process management roles within the automotive industry.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in high-volume manufacturing environments.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing leaders, supervisors, and large operational teams.
Advanced English and Spanish communication skills (
C1 level or higher
).
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive organizational change, and execute strategic initiatives.
Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, investments, and operational performance indicators.
Results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Technical Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing Operations Management and production systems.
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Waste Reduction, and Operational Excellence methodologies.




Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and tools, including:
IATF *****
ISO ****
FMEA
MSA
Control Plans
Root Cause Analysis
Experience leading production planning, capacity management, and performance optimization strategies.
Financial management and budget control capabilities, including forecasting, investment planning, and cost optimization.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations, ISO *****, and occupational safety management systems.
Experience implementing digital manufacturing tools, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and data-driven operational improvements.
Proficiency in manufacturing KPIs, operational analytics, and performance management.
