The HIL Test Engineer is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems to validate embedded control systems, primarily in automotive, aerospace, or industrial applications.
This role ensures that software and hardware components function correctly under simulated real-world conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, configure, and maintain HIL test benches and simulation environmentsDesign and execute test cases for embedded systems and control algorithmsIntegrate real-time simulation models (e.g., plant models) into HIL systemsAutomate test scripts using tools such as Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or CAPLPerform validation of ECUs (Electronic Control Units) under various operating scenariosAnalyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysisCollaborate with software, hardware,
