The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of payroll specialists, ensuring that all policies and systems are up to date and efficient, completing necessary internal audits, and ensuring that all policies, practices and systems are within compliance of any regulations or laws.General Responsibilities- Supervise the generation of the company payroll, including labor distribution records, vacation and sick accrual, overtime and withholding status- Provide management, coaching, and development to staff members- Conducts reviews of any additions or changes to the computerized payroll system- Manages the activities of a team of professionals to ensure that payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with the set timeline- Oversees the preparation, documentation and disbursement of all payroll checks, payroll taxes and employee benefit paymentsExperience / Qualifications- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
