Location: Monterrey, Reciente LeónWork Modality: On-siteEmployment Type: Full-timeSalary: MXN $50,000 – $60,000 gross per monthEnglish: Advanced (Required)Position SummaryWe are seeking a Product Manager to develop, manage, and strengthen the company's product portfolio through strategic supplier management, market analysis, new business development, and technical-commercial support.This role is responsible for driving profitable category growth, ensuring a competitive value proposition, and serving as the key liaison between Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and Corporate.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the assigned product portfolio, including sales performance, profitability, market positioning, and product life cycle.Define and execute growth strategies by product category, industrial segment, and sales channel.Identify product development, application, and new market opportunities.Develop and maintain strategic relationships with domestic and international suppliers.Analyze costs, pricing, margins, competition, and profitability by product line.Coordinate new product launches and go-to-market strategies.Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team, distributors, and key customers.Develop sales tools, presentations, technical data sheets, and product training materials.Participate in demand forecasting and inventory planning.Monitor inventory levels, turnover, obsolescence, availability, and service performance.Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain to ensure portfolio availability and competitiveness.Conduct market analysis, benchmarking,



and monitor industry trends.Participate in commercial negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers.Track KPIs and prepare executive reports for senior management.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Administration, International Business, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Specialist, Category Manager, Business Development Manager, Product Engineer, Strategic Sourcing Specialist, or in a similar role.Experience in B2B industrial companies, preferably involving valves, fittings, hoses, couplings, instrumentation, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, automation, or fluid handling solutions.Hands-on experience in supplier management, product development, pricing, margin analysis, and inventory planning.Knowledge of industrial markets such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Food & Beverage, Mining, Energy, Manufacturing, or Industrial Distribution.Advanced English (required) for meetings, negotiations, technical documentation, and communication with Corporate.Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.Availability to travel as business needs require.Key CompetenciesStrategic thinking and business acumen.Analytical skills and results orientation.Negotiation and supplier management.Technical and commercial communication.Project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.Planning, organization, and decision-making.Customer focus and relationship building.Performance IndicatorsSales growth by category.Gross margin and portfolio profitability.Forecast accuracy and achievement.Inventory turnover and product availability.Successful new product introductions.Supplier development and cost reduction.Market share growth and key account penetration.Sales team product adoption and training completion.
