**ABOUT THIS ROLE****ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES****Design & Development**:- Architect and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumption.
- Ensure APIs are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices.
**Integration & Collaboration**:- Work closely with product managers, architects, and other engineering teams to deliver seamless integrations.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of API services.
**Performance & Security**:- Optimize API performance and reliability through caching, load balancing, and efficient data handling.
- Implement robust authentication, authorization,



and data protection mechanisms.
**Documentation & Standards**:- Maintain comprehensive API documentation and enforce coding standards.
- Advocate for API-first design principles across the organization.
**Mentorship & Leadership**:- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in API development and integration.
