To be a part of IT Network team who is responsible to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient network communication throughout a complex network system. Assist with day-to-day operations, monitor network performances, identify issues and their resolutions. The candidate must have knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networks, MPLS, SDWAN, Cisco routing and switching standards and technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain network SLA standards while troubleshooting day-to-day tickets, while pro-actively monitoring and responding to prevent network related issues.
- Configuration of Cisco device (Routers, Switches, ASA) from scratch, perform tests and deployment of network presented.
- Responsible to oversee,
create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented network systems and update for each system change.
- Responsible to plan, manage, and execute after hour network maintenance with minimal or no impact to company operations.
- Responsible for managing outsourced network support vendors.
- Responsible to manage and deliver multiple projects within expected due dates, ensuring to keep all parties involve informed of progress /obstacle
- Evaluate, recommend, plan, and implement new technologies and procedures
RequirementsExperience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network deployment, managing/maintaining and troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as: Wide Area Networks, Local Area Networks, MPLS, DMVPN and SDWAN technology, Cisco Routing&Switching; and other protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, SMTP, HSRP etc. security appliances, wireless technology, Data Center experiences and other related technologies, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with IP addressing, VLSM and IP routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP)
- Experience with Cisco technologies (Catalyst, ASR, Cisco ASA, Cisco AnyConnect)
- Experience with support tools such as industry standard network monitoring systems (SolarWinds, Auvik, syslog servers)
- Problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion to respond to common and complex inquiries.
- Specialized knowledge: Cissco Certified Preferred (CCNA)
- English Level: Advanced
