Job Opportunity in PUERTO RICO with TN Visa Sponsorship!

We are seeking a versatile Senior Industrial Engineer to drive production excellence, improve manufacturing efficiency, and support high-quality operations for both local and international corporate clients. This position will focus on overseeing production, optimizing workflows, strengthening quality standards, and leveraging advanced CNC expertise to train current staff and elevate manufacturing performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, hands-on experience with advanced CNC machines, and practical expertise in metal fabrication, tooling, stamping, and precision manufacturing processes.

The selected candidate must be willing to relocate to Puerto Rico (U.S. territory).

Key Responsibilities1. Production

- Production Oversight: Directly supervise production operations, ensuring optimal workflow, strict adherence to quality standards, and on-time delivery.
- Corporate Standards: Elevate production standards to meet the demanding precision, quality, and delivery expectations of major corporate clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze statistical data and operational sequences to minimize costs, identify bottlenecks, and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Production Planning: Coordinate resources, equipment, labor, and workflows to ensure efficient and reliable production.

2. CNC Expertise

- Machining Optimization: Apply extensive knowledge of advanced CNC machines (including 4-axis and 5-axis systems) to optimize tooling design, machining strategies, and cycle times.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve programming, tooling, setup, and mechanical issues on advanced CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
- Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to CNC processes, machine utilization, tooling selection,



and manufacturing methods.

3. Metal Fabrication, Tooling & Stamping

- Manufacturing Support: Utilize expertise in metal fabrication processes to improve production efficiency, material flow, and manufacturing consistency.
- Tooling Knowledge: Support the design, setup, maintenance, and continuous improvement of tooling processes for precision manufacturing applications.
- Stamping Expertise: Evaluate and improve stamping operations, tooling performance, part consistency, and production repeatability.
- Manufacturing Methods: Collaborate in developing practical solutions for manufacturing challenges involving forming, cutting, machining, fixturing, and production processes.

4. Industrial Engineering & Process Control

- Cost Analysis: Estimate production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and evaluate the impact of product design changes on manufacturing expenses.
- Workflow Design: Plan operational sequences, develop facility layouts using CAD, and establish labor utilization standards to maximize efficiency.
- Quality Control: Coordinate and support inspection activities, implement corrective action plans to ensure equipment accuracy, and manage nonconforming materials.
- Documentation: Maintain and improve production documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Mandatory Requirements

- Valid Mexican passport.
- Bachelor's degree, professional license,



and academic transcript (Kárdex) in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering, production management, manufacturing operations, or a related technical leadership role.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Willingness to relocate to Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

- Extensive knowledge of 5-axis CNC machines and other advanced CNC equipment, including programming, troubleshooting, machining strategies, tooling, and cycle time optimization.
- Hands-on experience in metal fabrication, tooling, stamping, forming, fixturing, and precision manufacturing processes.
- Experience with production workflows, quality systems, process controls, inspection methods, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to design or evaluate facility layouts, production sequences, tooling concepts, fixturing, and process improvements.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented approach to identifying manufacturing issues and implementing effective corrective actions.

Sueldo: $850,000.00 al año
