We are currently looking for a highly skilled and strategic Legal Counsel Americas to join our team. Based in Mexico, this crucial role will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and guidance to our operating divisions across both the United States and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

As the Legal Counsel Americas, you will act as a key business partner to our regional leadership. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Commercial & Sales Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a strong focus on sales agreements and customer terms.
- Supplier Negotiation: Lead legal negotiations with vendors and suppliers to protect the company’s interests and ensure favorable terms.
- Corporate Compliance: Oversee and enforce compliance policies across the US and Mexico divisions, mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
- Human Resources Support: Provide practical legal advice and support regarding labor laws and HR matters in both jurisdictions.
- Automotive Industry Guidance: Navigate the complex legal landscape of the automotive manufacturing industry,



ensuring all business practices align with sector-specific regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 6+ years of proven experience as legal counsel, preferably with strong exposure to the automotive industry.
- Education: Professional Degree (Bachelor of Laws / JD or equivalent) is strictly required. A Master's degree (LL.M. or similar) is highly preferred.
- Language: Advanced, professional-level English is required (capable of drafting complex legal documents and negotiating fluently).
- Availability: Willingness and ability to travel as needed between Mexico and the United States.
