Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr Quality Engineer.What You’ll DoResumen de la posición:Responsible for analyzing data, generating control plans and following up on process improvement to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Identify problems in production areas and address them to get to the root cause through the use of troubleshooting tools in collaboration with other departments.Responsabilidades De La PosiciónSupervise the assurance the quality of the products through audits.Generate documentation to execute audits in the productive areas.Review and approve MSA (Measurement System Analysis) studies.Follow up PFMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) in conjunction along with the cross-functional team.Develop and implement quality control plans to establish the necessary actions to ensure that the product meets the specifications required by the customer.Generate and follow up PPAP documentation.Propose immediate corrective actions by implementing rapid problem solving techniques and tracks their completion status and effectiveness.Follow-up of non-conformities, review and analyze the results obtained to close the non-conformity.Create and post quality alerts.Follow up of actions to close Deviations.Scrap analysis.Supervise the perform quality inspections and tests to ensure compliance with standards.Analyze data and trends to identify areas of improvement and propose solutions,



as well as perform statistical reporting.Safeguard suspect material for further analysis.Train quality personnel on procedures and instructions.Support and develpment of quality engineers and quality engineering techiniciansDevelop new procedures and instructions for quality performance improvement.Support quality manager on any other activities requested.QualificationsNivel de educación:Bachelor’s degree Engineering, business administration or other science.Años y Área De ExperienciaMinimum experience of 3-5 years in similar positions.Conocimiento TécnicoKnowledge in quality methodologies for problem solving (8D's, 5 why, A3, Pareto diagrams, Ishikawa diagram, etc.).Knowledge in Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).Minitab.Visio.Measuring equipment (vernier, micrometer, Keyence vision systems, microscope).Apis IQ-RM.Powerlink (Infor XA).AS-400.TRESS system for supervisors.Fluent EnglishKnowledge and experience with manufacturing processes.Strong computer applications skills; Minitab, Microsoft Office, MS Project, MS Vision, Access Auto Cad.Project Management KnowledgePreferable: Six Sigma Green Belt CertificationPreferable: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE certification)SkillsCompetencias profesionales:Thinks and Acts Strategically.Gets Results.Builds Organizational Capability.Demonstrates Leadership Style.All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
