Job DetailsJob Description: This position requires candidates to upload a resume in English; you are welcome to upload multiple versions of your resume if you prefer but an English version of your resume will be required to be considered for this position.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Development and BuildDesign, assemble, and configure laboratory test platforms in accordance with project specifications and technical requirementsSet up and maintain laboratory workstations, equipment, and testing environmentsCollaborate with engineering teams to support the development and continuous improvement of platform infrastructureDocument platform configurations, procedures, and technical specificationsInventory ManagementMonitor, track, and manage laboratory inventory including components, tools, equipment, and consumablesMaintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using designated tracking systemsCoordinate procurement requests to ensure timely availability of required materialsConduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies as neededProperly label, store, and organize all laboratory assets following established protocolsBoard Functionality - Testing and DebuggingPerform functional testing of electronic boards and hardware assemblies at various stages of developmentIdentify, analyze, and debug hardware and software issues at the board levelExecute systematic troubleshooting procedures to isolate root causes of failuresCollaborate with design and development engineers to report findings and implement corrective actionsValidate board performance against defined technical specifications and acceptance criteriaQuality Assurance and Test PlanningEnsure the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and reproducible test resultsDevelop, review, and maintain comprehensive test plans aligned with project requirementsEnsure adequate functional coverage across all test scenarios and use casesIdentify gaps in test coverage and propose improvements to testing methodologiesMaintain detailed records of test results, observations, and non-conformancesSupport root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processesDocumentation and ReportingPrepare clear and concise technical reports summarizing test outcomes, defects,

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.Minimum QualificationsPossess or be pursuing an Associate's degree or Technical Certificate in Electrical Technology, Electronics or a related technical field +1 year of experience in the following areas:Circuit design and troubleshooting.Electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).Wiring and cabling systems.Computer hardware and systems.Windows and Linux operating systems administration and troubleshooting.Software installation, configuration, maintenance, and debugging.General computer system support,
including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.Technical documentation and schematics reading.Safety and compliance standards.Advanced English level.Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).Preferred QualificationsThis team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Intel's CPU designs through hands-on laboratory testing and validation, in a dynamic cross-team environment. The Lab Technician will work closely with engineers to support hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging activities.
