Overview
VOLCANIX AUTOMATION is seeking experienced Controls Engineers to support high-speed industrial automation projects across North America. This role involves PLC programming, system commissioning, and integration for advanced manufacturing systems.
The position will be primarily based in the West GTA region of Ontario, Canada, working in a workshop environment for approximately 7 months. Following this phase, there may be opportunities to participate in short-term on-site installation assignments in the United States or other countries, depending on project requirements and candidate availability. After completing these assignments, the employee will return to Canada to continue with additional commissioning projects. There is also the option to pursue long-term on-site assignments based on both candidate preference and business needs.
Qualifications Strong experience with PLC programming, including: Allen-Bradley SCADA systems and HMI (Panel View) Vision systems Experience in high-speed automation environments Experience with robotics is a plus Life sciences High-speed production lines Pharmaceutical and medical device automation Requirements Willingness to travel Ability to work on customer sites across North America Strong troubleshooting skills Excellent English communication skills Engineering or technical degree preferred Work Authorization Eligible for a TN Visa Authorized to work in North America Additional Information Travel and work-related expenses will be covered by the company #J-18808-Ljbffr
